Around the World in 180 Minutes benefiting Bridgewood Farms

Bridgewood Farms is excited to announce the details for the upcoming fundraising event, the 12th annual “Around the World in 180 Minutes” wine tasting extravaganza to be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at the all new Northside Lexus Dealership located in The Woodlands. This event is a virtual wine tour through some of the most exciting wine regions in the world, including Italy, France, South Africa and Austria, to name a few, plus last year’s spotlight region, Texas! Entry into the event includes all tastings for the multiple wine stations, delicious bites, live entertainment and so much more! The night of fun and giving will also include live and silent auctions, a raffle, wine pull and more. This year we are excited to be partnering with "Raising a Hand for Rett", a nonprofit organization committed to finding treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome, a debilitating neurological disorder seen primarily in females. Rett syndrome causes problems in brain function that are responsible for cognitive, sensory, emotional, motor and autonomic function. These can include learning, speech, sensory sensations, mood, movement, breathing, cardiac function, and even chewing, swallowing, and digestion. They will be showcasing and selling some beautiful photographic prints, along with Volume 1 of their book, "Raising a Hand," that features some of music's greatest talents. Kevin is one of the founders of Raising a Hand, and knows first hand the devastation of Rett Syndrome, having lost his daughter Cortney to the dreadful disease. They will be selling their prints and books, and donating 10% of the proceeds back to Bridgewood Farms!
