Brain Tumor Support Group

MD Anderson BEST (Brain tumor Education and Support Together) is a brain tumor support group that meets monthly in the Texas Medical Center and quarterly in The Woodlands. This event is open to anyone facing a primary brain tumor or brain metastasis from another cancer; caregivers and family members also welcome. John de Groot, M.D., chair, ad interim, of Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson, and Debra Yeba, M.D., assistant professor of Central Nervous System Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson will give a brief presentation on brain metastasis and answer questions. The support group discussion will be facilitated by Michelle Will, senior social work counselor at MD Anderson in The Woodlands.
