Free Back and Neck Seminar

When it comes to back and neck pain, many people are unsure about which type of specialist to see – an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon. This informative free seminar will be presented by spine specialists Andrew H. Marky, MD, MPH, neurosurgery, and Kenneth Palmer, MD, orthopedic surgery, who will discuss the latest advancements in surgical options, imaging, and rehabilitative technologies to diagnose and treat back and neck pain. “Degenerative changes in the neck and back that occur with age as well as lifestyle factors, such as not maintaining a healthy weight, are two of the most common causes of pain that I see as an orthopedic surgeon,” said Dr. Palmer. “In younger individuals, back pain tends to be sports related.
