Woodforest Serves Up Memorial Day Cook Off May 26

Montgomery County police will face off against firefighters for a Memorial Day Cook Off at Woodforest 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 26. The public is invited out to the community’s Forest Island recreation complex, 4665 Woodforest Parkway North, where Team Firefighter is expected to turn up the heat against a fired-up Team Police as they vie to see whose barbecue reigns supreme. For a $10 donation, visitors can taste the smoky results and vote for their favorite team. Donations benefit the police and firefighters with attendees able to designate the squad of their choosing.
