Woodforest to Serve Up Tasty Fun During April 6 Crawfish Carnival

Thrill seekers and crawfish cravers will both be satisfied at the Woodforest Crawfish Carnival, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Heaps of spicy crustaceans and a Ferris wheel headline the event taking place at Christine Allen Nature Park, 5831 Woodforest Parkway South. A $10 admission ticket includes 3 pounds of crawfish or a food item and non-alcoholic drink as well as Zydeco music, carousel ride, carnival games, crawfish races, inflatables, a photo booth and more. Tickets at the door are cash-only and cost $15. Adults 21+ can purchase beer, wine and margaritas. The carnival is open to the public.
