YMCA Operation Backpack

The Woodlands Family YMCA joins the forces of 36 YMCAs, local churches and other community partners to touch the lives of tens of thousands of Greater Houston area children and families, including families in the communities of South Montgomery County,  this school year.  Tens of thousands of school supplies will be collected for local children who might otherwise go back to school unprepared. Help us help kids be prepared with the basic supplies needed for the 1^st day of school.

YMCA Operation Backpack is gearing up to provide kids in our community with school supplies to begin a successful school year. Your donation will bring excitement and hope to the kids helped through this project. Many willing hearts are needed to make this project a success. Help make a difference in a child?s life. In 2016, more than 2000 stuffed backpacks were donated to local students.
