Position Summary: The Specialist II, Graduation is responsible for degree audits, course substitutions, course directives, tracking and processing graduation application, reverse transfers and auto graduations. They may assist with admissions and records duties as needed.
Job Functions:
- Provides new, prospective, and current students with information about graduation requirements and analyzes student's progress towards program completion and graduation
- Assists with graduation ceremonies and coordinating pre-graduation activities and events
- Runs advisement reports, degree audits and updates student information within graduation tracking for students who have applied for graduation
- Maintains and conducts correspondence with students, advisors and division departments to properly evaluate student records for completion and graduation purposes
- Creates, organizes, and maintains appropriate records needed for LSC to stay in compliance with local, state, and national authorities regarding completion rates
- Corresponds with students via several email boxes and phone regarding completion progress
- Processes course substitutions and course directives
- May assist with admissions and records within level of responsibility as needed
- Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned
Salary: $31,200 to $35,880
- Required: High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
